To be honest, when your hair starts falling, most of the times nothing works. But, it is always better to take care of your hair in a good way so that you can save yourself from getting into hair issues. Below are some of the ways you can apply to take good care of your hair:

Washing is the most important care for your hair because regular cleaning is very important. You must not wash your hair every day as it may leave your hair dried but that doesn’t mean you wash your hairs once or twice in a month. You should wash your hair using a good shampoo twice a week at least. The idea is to keep your hair clean at the same time; washing too frequently should not be done since it leaves dry hairs which don’t look good.

When you plan to wash your hair, try to massage oil to your hair and scalp thoroughly 1.5 -2 hours before shampooing. It is important because most of the shampoos have harsh ingredients that strip essential oils from the hair. But, when you apply oil before shampooing, it helps to handle this problem well.

Rather than putting shampoo directly on to your hair and start rubbing, put shampoo in your hand, and mix some water to it to dilute it, and then apply to your hair, and massage softly to apply it thoroughly. Once it is done, clean your hair with fresh water, and make sure you rinse it well so that there won’t be shampoo left anywhere. Keep rinsing the hair until you don’t see foamy bubbles.

Most of the Shampoos contain Sulphate which is used for lathering effect in it which helps remove oil and dirt from hair quickly. Somehow this is good since it cleans out everything from hair, but at the same time, it makes your hair very dry which is not a good thing for hair.

Try using Sulphate-free shampoo so that it won’t remove natural oils from the scalp. They don’t make your hair dry.

If you are one of those who has dryness in the hair, never use a shampoo that has sulphate since it will make your hair drier. Or you can use those which have low amount of sulphate. 

  1. Avoid using Hair Care products with too much Protein

There are so many hair care products such as hair serums, oils, etc. in the market. When you buy any of those hair care products, do look at the ingredient and make sure they don’t have too much protein because too much of protein can leave the hair very prosy and fragile. However, we cannot deny the fact that proteins are one of the main building blocks of the hair, but too much of it may harm.

Even if you use some hair care products that have protein plenty, make sure to use a conditioner of the same brand to balance the effect. For better care of hair, there are the best hair serums available in the market which you may use.

  1. Wash Hair with Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar has lots of benefits for your hair. When you wash your hair with it once a month, your hair looks shinier, and it helps you get rid of dandruff too. While washing with it, take some water, and vinegar should be 1/3 of it. Then wash hair as you do normally. Vinegar has a smell, but it will go away after shampooing once.

Whenever you shampoo your hair, your hair becomes dry as the oil from it is removed. So, it is important to condition your hair using some good conditioners that are available in the market. You should go for the herbal ones preferably.

If you are one who has very dry hair, never skip conditioning of hair after shampooing.

  1. Drying your Hair

After you finished washing and applying conditioner, you need to dry the wet hair, and for that, you have to be very careful because the wet hair is fragile and can break easily so don’t just comb wet hair with a dense toothed comb.

Use your fingers to detangle the hair as while washing they get tangled. You can then use a wide-toothed comb. Once you detangle them, let them dry naturally.

You can avoid dryers most of the time because too much use of dryer won’t be good. Use dryer when you have to do things quickly due to some urgent schedules. You can use a soft cotton towel to wrap your hair in it so that it takes out water from the hair, and help it dry fast. After some time, take out the towel, and let it dry naturally be being in an open room or even walk in the garden if possible.

Once dried completely, you should then comb it well, and style the way you want.

  1. Styling Your Hair

Apart from Oiling, washing, conditioning, and drying, there comes styling your hair, and you know if you style your hair wrongly, more hair will be broken. Therefore, style your hair properly, and try the styles that suit your hair type. Not every style looks good on every type of hair.

Few things to take care while styling your hair:

  • Don’t try the styles in which you have to tightly pin your hair. Tightly knotted hair put pressure on the follicles which is definitely not good for the overall health of your hair.
  • Avoid too much of straightening, crimping, coloring, and bleaching as they might affect the overall health of your hair. However, occasionally you can use hair straighteners to straighten your hair, you can also use coloring. But, do in limits. Repeated use of these can cause damage to the hair.

Apart from all the hair tips, we shared above, you need to change some of the things in your lifestyle in order to stay fit because the better health you have, the better hair you get.

  • Eat Healthy: Always have balanced diets to get the right amount of protein, carbohydrate, vitamins, and various minerals.
  • Workouts: Everyday, at least work out for one hour. If you cannot make it to go to the gym, you can do some workouts at home or in any case if that is not possible for you as well, try running at least for 30 minutes every day in the morning or evening.

  • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water. 8-10 glasses of water a day is what we would advise you. In the summers, you can try watery fruits such as watermelon.
